Unknownfound at Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, USAin a core-sample, depth 99.4-99.5 feet Pleistocene provided by Dr. Stephen J. Culver Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Geological Sciences, East Carolina University View of an unknown specimen, which shows a planispiral shape and pustulose ornamentation as Cribroelphidiums e.g. C. microgranulosum (Galloway and Wissler, 1927). However I didn't find any Cribroelphidium with such an aperture, unfortunately covered partly by sediment. |
